Body part obviously describes what part of the body was injured during the workplace accident. The following charts display the top 10 “ body parts” found in the WC Division’s injury database for 1999, 2000 and 2001. You will note the lower back ranks first for the most often injured body part for all three years. The back is followed closely by knees and fingers for the commonly injured body parts over all three years.
